We are thrilled to announce the extraordinary competitive success of adaptive golf player Bailey Bish, who placed 3rd at the recent U.S. Adaptive Open Championship. It has been an enormous source of pride for us to sponsor and support Bailey through an incredibly challenging athletic career.

Bailey’s sporting journey has been anything but smooth. At the tender age of 14, Bailey had to undergo sinus surgery to correct a deviated septum and bone spur. This led to complications, including an infection, that plunged her into a long battle with chronic health issues. Eventually, she was diagnosed with a movement disorder called hemidystonia, affecting the right side of her body. Despite these challenges, Bailey demonstrates abundant resilience and passion, strapping on her golf shoes and taking to the course every opportunity she gets.

This tournament is no ordinary event; it’s a unique platform that offers the world’s top players with disabilities a chance to display their remarkable skills on a global stage. They compete for a prestigious national championship and are empowered to chase their dreams fearlessly. This event serves as the Association’s 15th national championship, proudly standing beside such legendary competitions as the U.S. Open, U.S. Women’s Open, U.S. Amateur, and U.S. Women’s Amateur. This year, the 2nd U.S. Adaptive Open saw 96 determined competitors, each vying in one of eight impairment categories and for the overall titles. Their spirit of competition was palpable. They played to win.

Bailey’s performance at this championship was nothing short of spectacular. Round One saw her complete 18 holes in the sweltering heat, shooting an impressive 84. In Round Two, she shaved off four strokes from her first-round score to shoot an 80, securing her place in the top five. Round Three witnessed Bailey in fourth place overall out of 21 women, needing a top-five finish for an exemption into next year’s U.S. Adaptive Open Championship. Not only did she shoot an 82, but she also climbed up to finish third overall – an outstanding achievement considering her journey and the high level of competition.

As we reflect on this championship, it’s abundantly clear that Bailey has become an embodiment of Click Control Marketing’s (CCM) core values. Her incredible performance throughout this tournament showcased our values of Innovation and Adaptability.

Innovation is not just about creating new ideas. It’s about continually pushing the boundaries of what is possible. And Bailey does just that. With her condition, she is forced to constantly think outside the box to execute many of her golf shots. It’s genuinely inspiring to watch her come up with innovative ways to compete at such a high level.

Similarly, adaptability has been key to Bailey’s success. She uses an adaptive golf cart called a SoloRider (more information can be found here: http://solorider.com) on the course. With each new course comes a different set of environmental challenges. Bailey’s ability to adapt to these changes to push forward regardless of the obstacles in her path truly exemplifies the essence of adaptability.
